Tropical Broccoli Smoothie

A refreshing tropical smoothie with a broccoli twist. The broccoli adds a fresh flavor to this green smoothie. Plus, this brocolli smoothie is picky eater kid-approved!

Equipment

  • 1 high speed blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 cup frozen broccoli
  • 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add unsweetened coconut milk to the blender first to make blending easier.
  • Add all of the remaining ingredients to the blender (frozen pineapple, mango, banana, broccoli, flaxseed meal and coconut chips).
  • Blend until all the ingredients are well blended. The coconut flakes leave a grainy texture, but you can leave them out if you do not like the added texture.
  • Pour and enjoy!
